These caves provide essential shelter from the harsh elements in more remote areas, serving as vital refuges when no other options are available. Knowing the locations of these natural sanctuaries will be key for survival and strategic planning. But there’s more—these caves offer additional advantages for those seeking a more secluded spot for their encampments. You can pitch tents, build fires, and set up various items to create a cozy, hidden refuge within the rough terrain.

The exact number of caves won’t be revealed, leaving the discovery to players. The sense of exploration and surprise remains at the heart of the DayZ experience, and it will be exciting to see how players adapt to these new environments.

To immerse players in Sakhal’s icy landscape, the DayZ Frostline Expansion introduces four new winter hats, perfectly suited to the frosty environment.
